Hokuli‘a and SunChase. Committed to Community. Hokuli‘a is owned and operated by a highly qualified and experienced team at SunChase Holdings, Inc. We are committed to creating quality communities, and we define our success by maximizing the value of our development projects while balancing the needs of our neighbors, communities, and the environment. SunChase Holdings is a privately held, debt-free investment company with significant real estate holdings, including several large, master-planned developments like Hokuli'a. Recognizing the unique aspects of the property, capital investors William A. Pope and S. Robson 'Rob' Walton purchased Hokuli‘a through SunChase in 2014. While the Club at Hokuli‘a is member-owned, the Hokuli‘a residential community is led by SunChase SVP Duane Grimsman, who brings more than 30 years of experience managing such projects throughout the U.S. and in Europe.
